Razer has called this an "Ultramotion" display, meaning it'll dynamically synchronise the GPU and display.

On paper, the Razer Phone certainly gives off the impression that it's the next "iPhone killer", doesn't it? Along with dedicated amplifiers, the speakers also have a 24-bit "audiophile-quality" sound.

For a gaming-focused phone, one would expect plenty of RAM, and that's exactly what Razer did by putting 8 GB inside the phone, making it one of the extremely few phones to offer that much. The Razer smartphone runs at these rates and is therefore expected to run PC-like games. According to Razer, that's enough battery life for 12.5 hours of video playback or a seven-hour Hearthstone binge. The Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 technology on its USB-C port will also enable users to get it up and running fast when it does run out of juice. The back also houses a dual-tone LED flash module.

"Right now there's one phone design", Tom Moss Senior Vice President of Mobile at Razer told Gizmodo. Feast your eyes on a big screen with crisp details and the smoothest motion, complete with true-to-life vibrant colors. There lie two front-facing speakers, just in case you're not all about that headphone business.

But that wideness translates into a better holding grip when using the phone in landscape mode - which is what most games use. Do you think average consumers would buy it, whether they love gaming or not?

"It's common knowledge that I'm obsessed with my smartphones, I play a ton of games on them and they're my go-to for streaming content", said CEO Tan Min-Liang at the launch event.

And the gaming peripheral company designed a phone that makes the focus on gaming quite readily apparent.

This Android Nougat powered device has all the standard features of a flagship phone but, using Razer's years of experience, has been optimised for gamers.

In Europe, carrier Three will be offering the Razer Phone in the UK, Ireland, Denmark and Sweden.

And this display will help users enjoy a host of gaming titles including Arena of Valor, Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition, Tekken and Titanfall: Assault.

However, the phone has failed to provide a major component of the gaming experience: the headphones.

Simply put, familiarity that Nova Launcher has in tow would greatly surpass any custom launcher Razer could develop, thus we'd say that's an excellent move. Users have stated that the phone is hard to handle on account of its boxy built.
